The Philippines has one of the biggest Whale Shark populations in the world! There is a good chance you’ll see a passing Whale Shark during a regular dive at Magic Island Dive Resort.
Around Moalboal, but also on our own house reef, Whale Sharks are seen on a regular basis. However, as it’s always a matter of being in the right place, at the right time, there’s a chance you’re no that lucky.
For those who would really like an encounter with the biggest fish in the ocean, we offer trips to the Whale Sharks in Oslob, where you can dive AND snorkel with them!

While most operators only offer snorkeling with the Whale Sharks, we are in the fortunate position that we’re allowed to dive with them as well. We bring our own dive masters and staff to prepare a delicious BBQ-lunch afterwards – a great daytrip, fully organized by ourselves!
