The Resort

Magic Island is nestled between palm trees on the west coast of Cebu Island in the town of Moalboal. Ideally located between the town center and Panagsama (the main touristic area), offering a nice quiet location to relax. Situated right on the rocky coast line, giving perfect access to the amazing house reef with a drop off down to 50m, sporting an array of marine creatures from giant green sea turtles, frogfish, Pygmy seahorses and unspoiled coral reefs.
With 10 individual cottages on the premises and a dive center fully equipped to handle thirty plus divers, it never seems overly busy, allowing you to fully enjoy all of our amazing amenities, all of the time. Enjoy our free service such as wifi, pool towels, bath soap & shampoo and mineral water for your whole stay.

  • BUNGALOWS

Our resort is cosy with only 10 bungalows. All our cottages are superior deluxe and can be set up with either a queen size bed or twin beds, and in five of them we can add a 3rd bed if required. All bungalows are standard equipped with;

  • DIVE CENTER

The heart of any Dive Resort is the dive center and we make sure that ours is alive and pumping on all cylinders all of the time.
The dive center is located at the bottom of the resort right on the ocean edge. It’s fully equipped with;
• Three Bauer Compressors with continues flow Enriched Air filling capabilities
• Three outrigger dive boats
• Individual hanging posts for all your dive gear
• Dedicated rinse tanks for all you dive gear and cameras
• Bathroom
• Drinking water

  • RESTAURANT

Here at Magic Island we like to treat everyone as family. This is very apparent in our dining area, where we have all the tables linked together, allowing everyone to sit and talk about all the amazing underwater creatures they saw that day. With an open view kitchen that allows you to see the Chefs busy at work, preparing all of your delicious western or traditional meals in a modern, clean and hygienic workplace. We offer half board and full board. Do you have any allergies or are you vegan, vegetarian or pescetarian, no problem we can accommodate all needs.

  • BAR

The bar is a perfect place to relax after a long day with amazing dives. Enjoy a nice ocean view, while our bartenders Chino, Arnal and Chuna is more than happy to make you a great mocktail or cocktail. A great place to sit and tell stories of your past adventures.

  • SPA: MASSAGE & MANICURE

If you didn’t already feel relaxed enough, we have a great spa that offers whole body massages, manicures and pedicures. Luz Jean & Jean Ann look after the massages while Nita takes care of the mani/pedicures. Book a relaxing massage in the evening after a busy day diving and you are guaranteed to wake up the next morning full of energy and ready to go again.

  • SWIMMING POOL

Located in front of three of our cottages, with spacious lounging areas equipped with sun beds and umbrellas. If you want to soak up some rays or cool off at the end of the day, this is the place to do it. It is not far from the bar, so ordering a nice cocktail to quench your thirst is easy and very much recommended – after diving of course. We also use the pool for teaching scuba lessons; as it has an extra deep area specifically for diving tuition.
